Blizzard

Tooltip

Calls down a blizzard that lasts 8 sec., inflicting 14625 to 15375 Frost damage every 1 sec. and slowing the movement speed of all enemies in a selected area by 40%.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

Blizzard is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 14625 per tick. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 8 yards. It ticks every 1 sec, 8 times over the full 8 sec (117000 base in total).
  2. Effect 2 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -40. Its area radius is 10 yards.

What it does

Blizzard is a Frost spell with an instant cast, a range of 45 yards, a 10 sec cooldown and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in an 8 yard radius every 1 sec and leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in a 10 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70531. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
