Use of Service

The Site is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use by World of Warcraft players and enthusiasts. You may browse Auction House data, Deals listings, WoW Token prices, and related pages for your own informational and market research. TheWoWDB does not sell gold, buy gold, sell accounts, offer carries, offer boosts, provide powerleveling, or provide real-money trading services.

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, automated harvesters) to excessively query the Site in a way that degrades service for other users;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its underlying systems, or data;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Blizzard Entertainment's Terms of Use or End User License Agreement for World of Warcraft;
• Misrepresent data from the Site as official Blizzard Entertainment data.

Accounts and Community Content

Browsing the Site requires no account, and every tool works signed out. An optional sign-in through Blizzard Entertainment's official Battle.net service is available, and it unlocks community features such as posting comments, saving items, and storing keybinds. You are never asked for your Battle.net password: you authenticate on Blizzard's own site. Exactly what is stored when you sign in is set out in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your Battle.net credentials secure and for activity carried out under your session.

You own what you post. By posting a comment or other content while signed in, you confirm that you have the right to post it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute it on the Site so it can be shown to other visitors. Comments are public, and are shown alongside the single World of Warcraft character you chose to post as.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, obscene, or deliberately misleading; that advertises gold selling, account sales, boosts, carries, powerleveling, or other real-money trading; that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy; or that is spam or machine-generated bulk posting. We may edit, hide, or remove any post, and may suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without notice. We do not guarantee that a post will be retained or restored.

The Site does not process payments or subscriptions and does not sell any goods or services. All tools are provided free of charge. Users remain responsible for following Blizzard Entertainment's Terms of Use and the World of Warcraft rules.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Auction House prices, WoW Token prices, deal listings, market history, and all related figures shown on the Site are sourced from periodic snapshots of Blizzard Entertainment's public game data APIs. World of Warcraft Auction House and Token prices change continuously and can move significantly between refreshes.

We make no guarantee that any price, listing, deal, "estimated profit" figure, or historical chart is current, complete, or accurate at the moment you view or act on it. Always verify prices in-game before buying, selling, or relisting. The Site is a research aid, not financial or trading advice. Some deal tools may subtract the Auction House sale cut where explicitly labeled; even then, "estimated profit" figures do not include sale velocity, deposit costs, relist risk, or market movement after the snapshot, and do not guarantee that an item will sell.

Intellectual Property

World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment, and all related logos, item names, item icons, and game data are trademarks and/or copyrighted material of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. TheWoWDB.com is an independent fan-made site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment.

Item icons, tooltips, and game data on the Site are first-party, built from the public Blizzard game data APIs and the WoW client files. All original text, design, and code on the Site, except where noted, belong to TheWoWDB.com.

Advertising

The Site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and Google's other advertising products, and by Infolinks, to help cover hosting and development costs. Each of these networks is named in our Privacy Policy, which also sets out how advertising cookies are used and links to each network's own policy and opt-out. The set of networks in use can change; the Privacy Policy is the current list.

The Site may also contain affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never affect the Auction House data, prices, or rankings the Site publishes.

Disclaimers

The Site and all information on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheWoWDB.com and its operator(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of in-game gold, items, or progress, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on any information it provides.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to or load resources from third-party services (for example, fonts or advertising networks). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or services.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
