Tooltip
Places a Hand on a party or raid member, protecting them from all physical attacks for 10 sec, but during that time they cannot attack or use physical abilities. Players may only have one Hand on them per Paladin at any one time.
Cannot be used on a target with Forbearance. Causes Forbearance for 1 min.
How it works
It works on charges (charge category 1392); the charge count and recharge time live in a client table the datamine does not carry, so they are not stated here. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1.
Hand of Protection is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 25.
What it does
Hand of Protection is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.
Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
