Power Word: Barrier

Tooltip

Summons a holy barrier on the target location that reduces all damage done to friendly targets by 25% and increasing healing received. While within the barrier, spellcasting will not be interrupted by damage. The barrier lasts for 10 sec.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Power Word: Barrier is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179).
  2. Effect 2 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 4. Its area radius is 7 yards.
  3. Effect 3 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179). Its area radius is 6.5 yards.

What it does

Power Word: Barrier is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards, a 3 min cooldown and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it has a Create Area Effect effect, leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in a 7 yard radius and has a Create Area Effect effect in a 6.5 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
