Tooltip

Creates a whirling vortex of water, periodically knocking back enemies. In addition, the whirling water will deflect any spells cast at the caster and cause all ranged attacks to miss. Lasts 1 min.

How it works

Waterspout is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 1 sec, 60 times over the full 1 min. It triggers Waterspout.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 287. Its base value is 100. It scales with 1 times spell power.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 185. Its base value is -100.

What it does

Waterspout is a Frost spell with a 1.5 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 1 min. When cast it applies an aura every 1 sec and applies an aura. It also casts Waterspout (record #75690).

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70531. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
