Armor, slots and requirements
The Big Wave is a mail armor set of 8 pieces covering Head, Shoulder, Chest, Wrist, Hands, Waist, Legs and Feet.
That leaves Neck, Back, Finger and Trinket to be filled from outside the set, 4 of the twelve armor slots.
The pieces run from item level 289 to 333 and need character level 80 to 83.
The pieces bind when equipped, so they can change hands before they are worn.
Sold to a vendor those 8 pieces return 33g, and the single piece worth most at a vendor is Tsunami Chestguard at 6g.
Wearing the set
The set has one bonus and it needs 2 of its 8 pieces.
Every bonus is live once 2 pieces are on, which leaves 6 slots free for gear from outside the set without losing anything.
