Caustic Pitch

Tooltip

Throws a glob of pitch at a random location. Enemies touching the pitch suffer 20000 Nature damage every 1 sec. and have their movement speed reduced by 50%.

How it works

Caustic Pitch is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 20000 per tick. Its area radius is 2.5 yards. It ticks every 1 sec, 45 times over the full 45 sec (900000 base in total).
  2. Effect 2 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -50. It applies the snared mechanic. Its area radius is 3.5 yards.

What it does

Caustic Pitch is a Nature spell with an instant cast, an unlimited range and effects that last 45 sec. When cast it leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in a 2.5 yard radius every 1 sec and leaves a persistent area effect on the ground with the snared mechanic in a 3.5 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
