Freeze

Tooltip

Blasts enemies in a radius from your current target for 1 Frost damage and freezes them in place for up to 8 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect. Grants the Mage a charge of Fingers of Frost for each target hit by Freeze.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Freeze is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 1. It scales with 0.023 times spell power. Its area radius is 8 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 26. It applies the rooted mechanic. Its area radius is 8 yards.

What it does

Freeze is a Frost spell with an instant cast, a range of 45 yards, a 25 sec cooldown and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it deals Frost damage (base value 1) in an 8 yard radius and applies an aura with the rooted mechanic in an 8 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70268. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
