It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Impending Despair is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 45 yards, a 3 sec cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 6 sec. It also casts Despair Stricken.
