Scorch

Tooltip

Fires a jet of flame, burning all enemies in front of the caster within 30 yards, dealing 2357 to 2643 Fire damage every half-second for 3 sec. Additionally, the ground is scorched by this effect causing it to catch on fire, dealing 1885 to 2115 Fire damage every second to all enemies. Iron Constructs within this radius will begin to heat up, eventually becoming molten.

How it works

Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Scorch is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. Its base value is 1 per tick. It ticks every 1 sec. It triggers Scorch.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 1 sec. It triggers Heat.

What it does

Scorch is a Fire spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster) and an effect that lasts until cancelled. When cast it applies an aura every 1 sec. It also casts Scorch (record #62549) and Heat.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
