Wind Shear

Tooltip

Disrupts the target's concentration with a burst of wind, interrupting spellcasting and preventing any spell in that school from being cast for 3 sec. Also lowers your threat, making the enemy less likely to attack you.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Wind Shear is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68). It applies the interrupted mechanic.
  2. Effect 2 is effect type 125, which the datamine does not name. Its base value is -5.

What it does

Wind Shear is a Nature spell with an instant cast, a range of 25 yards, a 12 sec cooldown and effects that last 3 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting with the interrupted mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
