Craft counts are an estimate: the colour bands are read from the game client, and we assume the usual skill-up odds of one point per orange craft, three in four on yellow, one in four on green and none on grey. Expected means average, so half of all runs need more crafts than the number shown.
The client data we hold does not record where each recipe is taught, so this route never claims a trainer, a vendor or a drop. It states only what the client says: the skill each recipe stops paying at, and the recipes it teaches you automatically.
