Wrath of the Lich King Blacksmithing Leveling 1 to 450

Blacksmithing LevelingWrath of the Lich King

A Wrath of the Lich King Blacksmithing route from skill 1 to 450, solved from the client's own skill-up thresholds, with expected craft counts and the full material list.

Computed from the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Nothing on this page is copied from another site.

Craft counts are an estimate: the colour bands are read from the game client, and we assume the usual skill-up odds of one point per orange craft, three in four on yellow, one in four on green and none on grey. Each band holds one recipe while it is still orange or yellow rather than swapping every few points, and the count is summed point by point as the recipe cools. Expected means average, so half of all runs need more crafts than the number shown.

The client data we hold does not record where each recipe is taught, so this route never claims a trainer, a vendor or a drop. It states only what the client says: the skill each recipe stops paying at, and the recipes it teaches you automatically.
