Armor, slots and requirements
Dreadplate of the North is a plate armor set of 8 pieces covering Head, Shoulder, Chest, Wrist, Hands, Waist, Legs and Feet.
That leaves Neck, Back, Finger and Trinket to be filled from outside the set, 4 of the twelve armor slots.
Every piece is item level 213 and needs character level 80.
5 of the 8 pieces carry sockets, 8 in total.
Only a Death Knight can equip these pieces.
Every piece binds when it is picked up, so no part of this set can be traded or bought from another player.
Wearing the set
The bonuses come in at 2 and 4 pieces, out of the 8 pieces this set can put on a character at once.
Every bonus is live once 4 pieces are on, which leaves 4 slots free for gear from outside the set without losing anything.
