Counters an enemy's spell, preventing the enemy from casting that spell again for 15 sec. Generates a high amount of threat.

How it works

Each cast of Counterspell costs 100 Mana.

  1. Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68).

What it does

Counterspell is an Arcane spell with an instant cast, a range of 30 yards and effects that last 15 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting. The client files the whole spell under the interrupted mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
