Dispersion

Tooltip

You disperse into pure Shadow energy, reducing all damage taken by 90%. You are unable to attack or cast spells, but you regenerate 6% mana every 1 sec for 6 sec. Dispersion can be cast while stunned, feared or silenced and clears all snare and movement impairing effects when cast, and makes you immune to them while dispersed.

How it works

Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown.

Dispersion is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 87. Its base value is -90.
  2. Effect 2 is Dummy (effect type 3). Its base value is 6.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 60.

What it does

Dispersion is a spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 2 min cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it applies an aura.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
