Tooltip

Inflicts weapon damage plus 438 to 562 to an enemy, reducing its movement speed by 50% for 8 sec.

How it works

Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Hamstring is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 438. It scales with 1 times spell power.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -50.

What it does

Hamstring is a Physical spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it deals Physical damage (base value 438) and applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the snared mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
