Tooltip

Wounds the target causing them to bleed for 25 damage plus an additional (based on weapon damage) over 15 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Rend costs 10 Rage. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown.

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 5 per tick. It applies the bleeding mechanic. It ticks every 3 sec, 5 times over the full 15 sec (25 base in total).

What it does

Rend is a spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards and effects that last 15 sec. When cast it applies an aura with the bleeding mechanic every 3 sec. The client files the whole spell under the bleeding mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
