Seems a little weak to me considering you can get daggers in quests that are the same speed with better stats and do more damage. But if you are desperate for a quick weapon then here you go.

Or if you're a combat-fists specced rogue and you want a fast fist weapon for your crit bonus. It also looks like the Big Bad Wolf Paw, kinda cool.

Combat rogue would not want a 1.6 speed weapon in the main-hand. In fact, I do not think rogue of any spec would want a fast weapon in main-hand. Clarification: Technically speed itself isn't an issue since the normalization. But, slower weapon still provides higher min-max damage, which rogue's special moves depends on (such as sinister strike, hemo, etc). As a rogue, your main-hand weapon should always aim for highest possible min-max damage, not necessarily the highest dps

note that its sold in limited quantities. no idea what the respawn timer is but it ends up kinda rare.

Confirmed. It does actually look like, in Cataclysm, they were removed from vendors. Zinyen, Fallesh, and Grokom did not have them when I checked. I am on a low pop realm so I find it very hard to believe that all of them were purchased.

I just bought it so it's not removed. Extremely limited & anyone person couldn't check all possible vendors.

What sucks is there isn't another "same model" weapon that can be equipped on the off-hand. Think of how cool it would be to have two "bear hands". xD

It's a good thing there's no same model offhand. I'd find it kinda weird having two right hands. There are however, several left-handed versions.

Confirmed as IN GAME still. This is as of patch 4.3. I found it on [npc=20917]. While people think it has been removed because they've visited multiple vendors, it's more likely the vendors all share a rotation & timer with the item. Meaning at any one point you will not be able to purchase it solely because the opposing faction's vendor has the item for sale. Since they only sell 1 of this item at a time, it's very difficult to get your hands on.

While a great item for acquiring planar essences, it is a terrible time waster to acquire it.

I just bought it today by complete accident (hehe, be jealous!) from Talaara in Hellfire Peninsula (outland).
