Notice that it does Arcane Damage, which means spell damage will apply to the melee. If a mage uses this he can probably crit up to 2k in melee!

Though, this thing got nerfed a day after people toyed with it. It now does normal physical damage and only gives 21 hit rating.

For a combat rogue, is this better then void talon if your going for Combat Potency porcs.

Certainly. It's both faster (1.3 vs. 1.6) and is more likely to hit.(21 hit rating vs. 0).

Whats the source on this? Has it been removed from the game?

Confirmed! I just went to pay Dealer Jadyan at Stormspire in Netherstorm a visit, and he did indeed have the dagger plus a couple other nice xmog items (a sword and fist weapon). I should note that I was limited to only being able to buy one of each item. Once I did and clicked on him again, the items were gone. Maybe his inventory is on a spawn timer if you don't see the items at first?

Could be just a glitch since this is the start of 8.0, but all he showed available to me under assassination rogue classification were fist weapons, so I figured other items must have a respawn time. When I chose "All" from the drop-down menu, though, it showed Ethereum Phase Spear (polearm), Ethereum Phase Blade (1H sword), Pulse Dagger (which is what I went for in the first place), and Starheart Baton (wand), none of which had a limit or respawn time and all of which were BoE.

This is no glitch, this is how Blizzard has designed it. It can be a bit inconvenient for picking up transmog items, but in current game design, how often do you see rogues looking for Intellect weapons!? :)

omg thank you. I've been camping this guy on a alt for a month thinking I was so unlucky to never see the items spawn. I was so used to not having to select All on older vendors.
