Tooltip

Creates a cloud of lightning that lasts 15 sec., blasting all enemies in a selected area for Nature damage every 5 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Lightning Cloud costs 60 Mana. It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

Lightning Cloud is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 28. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 10 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 42 per tick. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 10 yards. It ticks every 5 sec, 3 times over the full 15 sec (126 base in total).

What it does

Lightning Cloud is a Nature spell with a 3 sec cast, a range of 30 yards, a 40 sec cooldown and effects that last 15 sec. When cast it deals Nature damage (base value 28) in a 10 yard radius and leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in a 10 yard radius every 5 sec.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the MoP Classic client, build 5.5.4.70631. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
