Blasts the enemy with lasers, dealing Shadow damage and silencing the enemy for 3 sec.
If used on a casting target, it will counter the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 6 sec.
How it works
Each cast of Optical Blast costs 20 Energy. It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.
Optical Blast is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68). It applies the interrupted mechanic.
- Effect 2 is Trigger Spell (effect type 64). It applies the silenced mechanic. It triggers Optical Blast.
- Effect 3 is School Damage (effect type 2). It scales with 0.14 times spell power.
What it does
Optical Blast is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards, a 24 sec cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting with the interrupted mechanic and deals Shadow damage. It also casts Optical Blast (record #115782).
