Tooltip

Calls down a pillar of flame, burning all enemies in a selected area for 70 to 80 Fire damage and an additional 50 damage every 3 sec. for 9 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Flame Spike costs 153 Mana. It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

Flame Spike is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 70. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 5 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Persistent Area Aura (effect type 27). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 50 per tick. It scales with 0.1 times spell power. Its area radius is 5 yards. It ticks every 3 sec, 3 times over the full 9 sec (150 base in total).

What it does

Flame Spike is a Fire spell with a 3 sec cast, a range of 30 yards, a 30 sec cooldown and effects that last 9 sec. When cast it deals Fire damage (base value 70) in a 5 yard radius and leaves a persistent area effect on the ground in a 5 yard radius every 3 sec.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Burning Crusade client, build 2.5.6.70006. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
