Pins the target in place, and squeezes for 4 damage over 4 sec.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Pin is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 26. It scales with 0.07 times attack power.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 1 per tick. It scales with 0.07 times attack power. It ticks every 1 sec, 4 times over the full 4 sec (4 base in total).

What it does

Pin is a spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards, a 40 sec cooldown and effects that last 4 sec. When cast it applies an aura and applies an aura every 1 sec. The client files the whole spell under the rooted mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
