Rip

Tooltip

Finishing move that causes damage over time. Damage increases per combo point and by your attack power:
1 point: damage over 12 sec.
2 points: damage over 12 sec.
3 points: damage over 12 sec.
4 points: damage over 12 sec.
5 points: damage over 12 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Rip costs 30 Energy. Casting it triggers a 1 sec global cooldown.

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 3 per tick. It applies the bleeding mechanic. It ticks every 2 sec, 6 times over the full 12 sec (18 base in total).

What it does

Rip is a spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards and effects that last 12 sec. When cast it applies an aura with the bleeding mechanic every 2 sec. The client files the whole spell under the bleeding mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
