Tooltip

A frozen crest of water splashes over targets in front of the caster, dealing 3938 to 5062 Frost damage and increasing the time between attacks by 400%.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Tidal Wave is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 3938. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 35 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 138. Its base value is -400. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 35 yards.

What it does

Tidal Wave is a Frost spell with a 2 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 4 sec cooldown and effects that last 15 sec. When cast it deals Frost damage (base value 3938) in a 35 yard radius and applies an aura in a 35 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
