Use your eligible kills to gather leather, then compare selling it with your Leatherworking needs.
Check whether the corpse is eligible and whether your skill can skin it. A creature record alone does not establish its leather yield.
Your next gathering session
Before leaving
Check the Skinning skill and any tool requirement shown in game. Make room for different leather and hide stacks.
After a kill
Loot the corpse and check its Skinning prompt. Eligibility and your current skill determine whether you can skin it.
Back in town
Check your Leatherworking ingredients before selling. A client creature record does not prove a skinning yield or a farming location.
Watch actual skill gains and return for training when your current rank stops you. No numerical skill-up chance is assumed.
