World of Warcraft: Forever Quests and Leveling

Blizzard announced more than 1,000 new quests for World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic Plus). The beta client (build 1.60.1.70009) carries 6,605 quest ids, 1,800 more than the Classic Era client (1.15.9.69722) has, and 2 Era ids are gone.

Beta client data, and it can change in any beta build before launch on November 4, 2026. Quest text, objectives and rewards live on the game servers in a 1.x client, so the client has quest ids but no quest names: this page counts quests, it does not list them.

Named quest lines

The beta client names these quest lines. Their quests have ids only.

  • To Have Loved and Lost: 1 quest in the chain
  • Toxic Soil: 11 quests in the chain
  • PvP Season Journey: 10 quests in the chain

New quest categories

The quest log groups quests by zone or by category. The beta client adds these categories that Classic Era does not have:

  • The High Order
  • Camping
  • Night Elf

Leveling milestones that earn Legacy points

The client's Legacy challenges reward reaching these levels for the first time on each of 9 classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior.

  • Level 25: once per class (9 classes)
  • Level 45: once per class (9 classes)
  • Level 60: once per class (9 classes)

Where the new quests are

The quest ids do not say where a quest starts. The new places they belong to are on new maps and zones, dungeons and raids, and every race and its classes are on races and classes. Getting between zones: travel and flight paths.
