World of Warcraft: Forever Races and Classes

The World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic Plus) beta client (build 1.60.1.70009) has 10 playable races and 9 classes. 2 races are new: High Order Skyborne and Windshaper Skyborne. 16 race and class pairs are not in the Classic Era client (1.15.9.69722).

Beta client data, and it can change in any beta build before launch on November 4, 2026. The client lists a pair as allowed; Blizzard can still switch one off on its servers.

Races

Human

Alliance race. 7 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Hunter (new).

Orc

Horde race. 6 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Mage (new).

Dwarf

Alliance race. 6 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Shaman (new).

Night Elf

Alliance race. 5 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Druid.

Undead

Horde race. 6 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Paladin (new).

Tauren

Horde race. 4 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, Druid.

Gnome

Alliance race. 5 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Priest (new).

Troll

Horde race. 7 classes in the beta client: Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock (new).

High Order Skyborne (new)

Alliance race. 5 classes in the beta client: Hunter (new), Rogue (new), Warrior (new), Mage (new), Druid (new).

The High Order is made up of the descendants of the ancient Highborne scholars of Eldre'Thalas. When the wind spirits disappeared from Zephras Isle, the High Order realized that the Skyborne's utter dependence upon their elemental patrons had left them dangerously vulnerable. A new generation of High Order have now been called upon to return to Azeroth to reclaim the arcane knowledge that they have lost, and use that power to ensure that the shen'dorei have the self-reliance to survive on their own.

Windshaper Skyborne (new)

Horde race. 5 classes in the beta client: Hunter (new), Rogue (new), Shaman (new), Warrior (new), Druid (new).

The Windshapers are the descendants of the first shen'dorei high elves to receive the wind spirits' gift of elemental skysight. A new generation of Windshapers is called to Azeroth from their home within Skywall to solve the mystery of what became of their missing elemental mentors, and will stop at nothing to see the wind spirits restored and their way of life preserved.
