Blast Wave

Tooltip

Unleashes a wave of flame, inflicting Fire damage to nearby enemies and reducing their movement speed for 6 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Blast Wave costs 120 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Blast Wave is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 707.484. It scales with 1 times spell power. Its area radius is 10 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -30. Its area radius is 10 yards.

What it does

Blast Wave is a Fire spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it deals Fire damage (base value 707.484) in a 10 yard radius and applies an aura in a 10 yard radius. The client files the whole spell under the incapacitated mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
