World of Warcraft: Forever is Classic+, launching November 4

Blizzard has announced Classic+ at BlizzCon 2026 under the name World of Warcraft: Forever, with Wowhead reporting details from the Opening Ceremony. The game launches on November 4, and a beta starts this Thursday.

Classic+ includes Undead Paladins, a new playable race, and more. Blizzard says the focus is on what made vanilla World of Warcraft memorable in the first place. Instead of one big story, players carve their own path. Blizzard frames it as having no rush, stating that the journey counts, not the destination.

What Warcraft Forever includes

Wowhead reports that Warcraft Forever ships with a broad set of additions to the classic game, from new dungeons and 10 and 20 player raids to updated world visuals and lighting. The expansion also brings new and expanded zones, including Mount Hyjal, the Zephras Isle and the Riverglades.

Other features include a Darkspear Islands battleground, account wide perks, new race and class combinations such as Undead Paladins, an SD or HD graphics toggle, and a permanent level 60 cap. Over 1,000 new quests and items are planned.
