Alterac Valley of Olde

I have an old Dell in my basement that is still running an Alterac Valley match that started in 2008.

It seems there are several ways to collect timewarped badges. Killing korrak gives 10, but I do not believe this quest is repeatable.
Currently, the most repeatable way of getting badges is 20 badges for a win, or the 10 badges for a loss (And who are we kidding, Alliance? ;) ). There are also several daily quests that give badges. They include speaking to the quartermaster (10), capturing a mine(10), capturing a tower(10), capturing a graveyard(10) and turning in 20 armored scraps (10 only for the first turn-in). There is one further daily quest that gives 10 that involves gathering an all-seeing eye.

The easiest way to do this is to push south with the group, getting your 20 scraps and a tower or graveyard within the first 2 graveyards and towers captured. Then you can use [item=169297] to teleport back to the start, turning everything in. This toy is sold by prospector Stonehewer at the gate blocking the cave-exit before Alterac starts.
All daily quests can also be completed and turned in on the next alterac valley (in case you cannot get back before the horde kills the questgivers), except for the armored scraps quest. Armored scraps disappear from your inventory after the match.

Obtaining the alliance version of this mount also grants the horde version, and vice versa.

I'm mostly confused about this. Don't see that many quests (besides what I assume are one-time ones) that even offer badges. I had armour scraps, but didn't know who to give them to. Can someone write or link a guide for this or something?

UPDATE: I just was in a winning match and the 10 badges for winning counted towards the achievement. I was 28 (gathering supplies from Irondeep for 2 more badges), and now I'm 38.

Update 2: the five badges for losing also counted.

Update 3: Lol, I don't know what you're downvoting for, doesn't change that it happened. I don't know why he badges for winning/losing didn't count for you, maybe that was a bug for one of us. I'm just reporting what I saw.

Update 4: 100% can confirm the badges at the end do count. Win or lose.
