Can I just vent my dislike at this particular achievement? I'm not a fan of having to depend on other people to spawn rares for this. Especially considering these profession related rares have very little hp, that they can die before anyone else can join in.
I'm aware that I can work order certain of the items(If the reagent drops in the first place) but certain ones, like the herbalist one, is completely dependent on another player spawning it and not killing it within 10 seconds, or me just happening to be in the nearby area.
I could also just reroll professions for this achievement. But I don't think I need to explain why that is a terrible solution as well.
Just make the drops BOA or not BOP at all.
I apologize for the petty winging, but I just wanted to get it out there.
Edit: As Vacc so kindly pointed out below, you can just buy the finished items off the AH. Still not amazing, but it circumvents having to camp the spawn points and hope for the best by a lot.

I will only go into detail for the Profession Rares because the other ones (aside from [npc=203353]) don't need any effort to be summoned/found. They also respawn frequently and are marked on the map & minimap with the standard Vignette, so AddOns like RareScanner or Silver Dragon will alert you properly.
- Summoning or defeating a Profession Rare is not tied to a character's profession, but when it's one for a Dragon Isles profession you have, you might see extra profession-specific loot (mostly knowledge). They will drop profession-related stuff anyways, but there's also a chance for Level 2 (385/389) Primalist Tokens, their [item=204276] upgrade items for Level 3 (395/398), [item=191784], and even [item=202196].
- Once a week, defeating & looting a Profession Rare will give you 5x [item=190456].
- Players who summon a Profession Rare will receive a [spell=405161] buff and get bonus loot into their bags before even looting the corpse. The buff will fade once the Rare is killed (this also happens on repetitive kills)
- Seen respawn timers between 5-8 minutes for the spawn objects. **
- To spawn a Profession Rare, players need the tradeable epic profession-related Artisan Curios item and then use it on an object in a pre-defined location. When you have Artisan Curios in your bags, the minimap will show a Vignette (Star) when you're getting close to one. (When the actual rare is summoned, players who are in ~100 yards range will also see it on the zone map)
- Epic Artisan Curios for gathering professions are acquired by actually using the Fishing, Mining, Herbalism, and Skinning professions, while any creature in the post-storm Forbidden Reach can drop a crafting-profession-related soulbound Artisan Curios item in rare quality that needs to be recrafted into the epic version.
- Recipes for these recrafts are sold by [npc=202445] in Morqut Village in the post-storm Forbidden Reach for 10x [item=190456] each. (you'll need at least Skill 50 in a Dragon Isles crafting profession to unlock its recipe purchase)
- This also means, that you can place crafting orders with your BoP Artisan Curios when you don't have the required profession/skill. This is not working for Cooking right now because crafting orders have been removed for Sparkling Spice Pouch due to the lack of a crafting table for cooking. (IMO they'll need to lower the recipe's required skill to 1, or just drop the epic version directly)
- The most important Profession Rare will be [npc=200743] for Jewelcrafters because it has a chance (in the latest PTR Builds it was a 100% drop for everyone participating in the fight, so maybe they changed their minds on the chance) to drop [item=204219] which is needed to craft [item=204217] to upgrade your 411 item level Primordial Stones to 418 & 424 for the [item=203460].
So maybe invite Jewelcrafters to help them get that recipe or even trade your Crystal Tuning Fork to JCs of your choice so they can summon whenever they have the time.RareProfessionArtisan Curios Drop for RecraftArtisan Curios Drop/RecraftRare Spawn Object[npc=200740][skill=2823][item=203398]/way #2151 56.39 39.02

** In PTR Build 10.0.7.48295 it was possible that no Vignette for a Profession Rare spawn object was showing on the map for hours when you had the related epic Artisan Curios. I hope they'll fix it, otherwise, you can always check the tool to maybe get into another phase or try Warmode.
The profession rares can be "bought" in AH. Basically buy the item you need to summon the rare, kaboom, achievement done!
