Don't Let the Doe Hit You On The Way Out

When you enter the boss room, clear all the trash and then come back up the ramp from the door to Volcoross' room and you'll find Ivy here.

Once you heal her to full she'll become "herdable" by walking close to her like the numerous World Quests they've put us through over the years. Have 1 person responsible for managing her throughout the fight and just have no one else near her. She must be herded out of mechanics and fire as the fight goes on and healed if she takes any damage and cannot be life gripped or rescued. The most dangerous part of the fight is when the brambles are healed up and you have to stand in the green circle to avoid the damage from [spell=417634]. She must also be in the circle but if anyone gets near her during this it will herd her out of it to her death. To counteract this we had our doe herder put her right on one side of the circle and we all piled into the other end, ensuring we entered from the far side to avoiding spooking her. In this screenshot you can see where we had blue and green marker.

You must also extinguish her before the boss dies, which can only be done in P1 so you want to ensure you don't push the boss to 35% before you do so. To extinguish her you need to remove the 50 stacks of the debuff she has. You do this by killing the Fiery Treants, which will then become Charred Treants and need to be healed. After being healed they'll channel into the seed in the middle of the room and give it energy. Once it has energy it can be clicked and lets someone use [spell=425249]. This is normally used to clear the fire and give you more room for the fight but for this achievement you should stand near Ivy and remove her stacks. Be careful when doing so that you don't herd her into a bad spot. You will need multiple waves of Treants to remove all 50 stacks.

Once she's extinguished you can push to P2 and then just kill boss without her dying. She does not need to be at max health at any point so long as she lives, but it doesn't hurt to keep her healthy.

This achievement should be soloable now. You need a decent healer class tho with some decent gear. However i did it with a friend to off tank the boss while i focused on Ivy. But it was a alt with bad gear. So a good geared healer should be able to solo it. A few heal here and now on yourself is enough.

Make sure [npc=211268] don't die or stand in fire. She moves when you come close to her. Like herding sheeps.

• Find [npc=211268] on the right side when you enter the boss room.

• Heal her full up.

• Then Herd over to boss. Place her somewhere close to the center where there is no fire.

• Start the boss fight.
• 
  
• Look out for Ivy at all time (use /focus on her), if she stands in fire, herd out of it asap

• Kill the 2 two trees that spawn. Heal them up after. Tree in the center begins to get %.

• Press the tree in the center and face Ivy to remove her stacks. It will take 4-6 trees to remove all her stacks.

• When all stacks are gone you can kill the boss. Make sure she stays alive while killing the boss.

Tips: Set a /focus on Ivy and mark her with a Symbol. Use the Instance Achievement Tracker Addon

Immediately to the right upon entering the boss’ room, you’ll see a small doe named Ivy. Heal her up and stand behind her to get her to begin walking. Have just one person herd her to the actual bosses platform and then you can begin the fight. During the fight, keep her healed up and you may have to herd her closer to the healed brambles to ensure she survives the bosses mechanics. Keep her alive til the end and the achievements all yours. This one was a little more complicated than the rest, but still fairly simple.
