Stormstout Brewery: Gold

Stuff we learned on our way to gold:

- Killing the small neutral elementals on the way up to the first boss will cost the mobs 50% HP each and strip them off one of their abilities. Blowing up the barrels helps, too. Ideally, these mobs should not reach the boss room alive. We actually used heroism on our way up (you'll need it again for the final boss).

- Half the boss room triggers enough mobs for the boss and vastly speeds up the killing (as your tank can actually tank them instead of running for his life).

- The first boss must almost constantly be hit by barrels, and you can keep casting while on a barrel.

- On our way to the second boss, we just ran, none dpsed anything except for the tank. The boss itself will show as soon as you kill the two hammer-wielders on his platform, make this a priority and smash all the adds afterwards while dpsing the boss. Boss dps is very important here, you loose too much time when focusing on adds. They have to die passively.

- you can skip the self-healing pack of 4 in the first room, just walk near the left wall and don't get hit by the spilling beer. Take a look at their pat route before.

- you can (and must) pull the last two mobs before the boss room into the boss room to start the event. Make the event mobs a priority and kill the other two in your spare time.

- the second pack must be stunned / silenced a lot. As we did not have a rogue or DK, we had to LoS them to follow us and stand nearer to each other. We then bombed them down while focusing some of them.

- the third pack is rather easy, just don't stand in puddles.

- The final boss always has the same combination (or at least it was this way for all our tries): Moving walls, debuff spraying beer left and right from you pushing away friendly players, adds that heal him. As you simply don't have the time to kill the adds, you have to interrupt every add from healing by standing between boss and add. We had 4 players standing nearly directly in the boss in NE, SE, SW and NW positions with a fifth as a backup. The walls hit hard (100k) and sometimes twice, but you can't afford to jump when you are LoSing the adds, so use personal cds in that situation. It won't be more than two walls, most probably, as this tactic burns the boss down in about a minute. Just don't die!

Let me finally say that Challenge Modes are the most fun I had in 5-mans since Classic and early BC, thanks a lot Blizz for this truly challenging (see what i did there?) experience.

Gold requires killing all 3 bosses and at least 25 enemies in under 12:00 minutes.

Completing these Gold achievements rewards a teleport spell so you can quickly get to the instance when ever you want. These spells are fly-out spells, meaning they are grouped and only take one actionbar slot -that's nice. The fly-out group consists of:
