Tour of Duty: Mechagon

Trying to do your own Wintergrasp battle in the open world does not work. That way does not allow you to hand the quest in at other locations.
This is how to do it as of 11.2:

•

• Put Warmode on
•

• Go to Mechagon
•

• Open Group Finder > Player vs Player > Change drop down to "Specific Battleground"
•

• Select "Battle for Wintergrasp"
•

• Join Battle
•

When you win, do not accept the quest hand in that pops up.

•

• Leave Battle
•

• Click the quest hand in on your quest log
•

• Complete
•

I originally didn't want to mess around with this Wintergrasp shenanigans. I've done other Tour of Duty's through War Supply Crates or PVP quests, and that's what I set out to do here as well.

As it turns out, that's not an option. War Supply Crates do not drop in Mechagon. I had an alt sit around for a few hours just to realize and verify this. I was also unable to find any PVP quests or anything that would give honor. There is a pvp cave that spawns a chest every now and then, but looting this does not give honor.

So, the Wintergrasp trick is your best option. The only alternative I can think of would be to find someone or use dual accounts to engage in actual player killing.

- Take wintergrasp quest victory in wintergrasp
- Win a wintergrasp PvP but dont complete quest
- Go to mechagon and complete wintergrasp quest
- Achiv. done

You can do it on other tour of duty achievements, just switch map on step 3
