TheWoWDBSadly, their being elite does NOT seem to give them a higher chance to drop better loot (such as the Bronze Whelpling pet). Then again, I've only killed about 100 of them.

not even sure how but i was walking past of these guys in stealth as druid as alliance as lvl 20, and it first threw me into tainted forest, cause it kept throwing me to nearby graveyard when i walked fast but didn't when i walked slowly, anyway i turned around and then walked back to the blasted lands fast and suddenly loading screen appeared and i found myself infront of karazhan in deadwind pass. by the guys who were around 42.6 49.8 guarding some form of metal spikes.
