Caring for a Car
The machine that carries you: fluids, tires, lights, and what not to ignore.
Wears the Classic spell Summon Felsteed. Commanding dangerous forces safely: code, cars, credit, and electricity.
Learning the ranks
The monthly walk-around
Check tire pressure against the sticker inside the door (not the tire's max), tread depth, lights, and learn to read the dipstick. Read the owner's manual once; it is shorter than you fear.
Know the schedule
Know the maintenance schedule and which warnings mean now (oil pressure, temperature, brakes) versus soon. Find one trustworthy mechanic before you need one.
Once, yourself
Do a fluid-and-filter service yourself once, with guidance, and learn what a fair quote looks like. The Felsteed is cheaper to maintain than to resurrect.
