With intellect now being the primary caster stat as of Cataclysm, this is the best staff you will see for a very long time, barring epics. The sheer amount of intellect here beats everything at or around it's level by a wide margin. If you do not have access to Bind to Account gear, get this as soon as possible. Most of the time, if this staff itself isn't cheap the card components of the [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=44158]Demons Deck[/url] itself will often be on the Auction House for cheap. Get the cards themselves, click em, and badabing-badaboom you got yourself a sexy little staff.
I don't know if it's a bug with the launch of the Legion prepatch, but I wasn't able to apply any enchant illusions on this staff. The enchant illusion button wasn't even there while I had my weapon mogged to this staff. The moment I changed it's appearance I was able to apply an illusion.
