Got myself one 2 days ago. I went 2-hand fury with it and its working out fantastic. With flurry, it brought its speed to a 2.62 two-hand. Talent build is here: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=pVMxdhioZE0zVMxkizb Sockets I put in were two Smooth Dawnstone gems (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24048), and a Sovereign Nightseye (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24054). The enchant I am using is Savagery for +70 AP. Crusader isn't the best choice I find at level 70 because of its drastically lowered proc-rate. Reason I didn't pick up MS is because I find Mortal Strike benefits a lot more from 3.60+ speed weapons for their higher damage range, whereas 3.00 - 3.50 speed weapons have a huge advantage with flurry.

tavis53, your build was alittle messed up http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=pAM0bAbZE0hVzgoizm the fix. No point going for sweeping and axe spec. 1)Fury = almost always in zerker stance. 2)Specialisation is nice, but overall the +AP gets better at higher levels. how can you have a 2h fury buiold and NOT have imp slam? wep damage at .5 speed ona 2h is brutal damage. also Anger managment is generally useless. and the extra point in Imp bezerker is better then the extra point in execute. you will do more damage this way Also you could also remove 1 from imp bezerker and gain 1 in tac mastery

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=pVMcdNioM0zZExzh0xRzZM In regards to TheRaven This is a better spec for 2hnd crit spec for PVE and PVP. 31-28-2 as you mentioned because of the following. -Imp Execute is a waste of talent point. -Imp Berserker rage is also useless since warriors get so much rage now with the new patch 10-15% bonus. - You have none to +5% crit for 2hnd axe or specialized in any wpn. -Wasted 3 talent points in heroic strike which could be used in any specialized wpn skill. -Slam is useless. -Sweep Strike is jesus, it can crit both mobs and more if u spec into cleave to hit up t

srry to tell you this man, but thats one messed up Fury build, too many wasted points IMO. did you put that together on a whim? were you a protection warrior for 2 years? 1) Imp Intercept? do you pvp alot? 2) Imp Whirlwind? ummmmm.......worthless, points better spent in Imp Cleave. 3) I honestly wouldnt have put 5 points into Iron will, even though you are 2H Fury, at least a couple points in 2H Weapon Specialization would be more beneficial than that. I currently am using Lunar Crescent, have over 500 Str, 1662 Unbuffed Melee AP, and a 28% to crit chance. I'm MS build not Fury though. Ha

- Charge, Attack (MS/BS, ect.), switch. not hard to comprehend - Not really, unless you have low AP. 27 damage, when udner 20% < 15damage every hit on each weapon. and thats going from my own stats in blues. - already said 31/30 , though tbh flurry is bad for pvp, only good for pve, is better. 33/28 is better. Second wind is almost a gimmie skill.

Wow slam is useless? Try slam and MS between cooldowns and check yourself on the dmg meters bro, you might surprise yourself. =P BTW here's my offer for a 2h Fury build tell me what you guys think. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LAM0bAiZE0zVMgoiz

Herioc strike is weak and it costs more rage than it tells you. Since it's a special skill that makes your next attack yellow, not only does it burn 15 rage but it also doesn't give you rage on your next hit either. Unless you are fury spec and you can spam piercing howl, heroic strike is useless. Slam, although it is a really good skill to use in PvE, is a horrible skill to use in PvP because of its cast time. People will be kiting you anyway and you'll be sitting there like a vegitable using this skill. In all kinds of situations, I say Bloodthirst, Mortal Strike, and Whirlwind are the bes

Drops from Doomwalker outside Black Temple, a 40-man outdoor raidboss. To now 100 Ap for Warriors, gem it up with Smooth Ornate Dawnstone (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28119) and 2 Bold Crimson Spinel (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32193) And you'd have yourself a hella good 2h Axe with 40 Crit rating, 70 strength, massive dps and an extra 4 2h weapon skill gem bonus!!! An by the time you'd be doing doomwalker you would be close to Black Temple for your Bold Crimson Spinel anyways. Happy hunting!!! :)

Don't be fooled by it's relatively low DPS, with epic gems this axe is better than Glaive of the Pit, Gronn Lords, tier 2 smithing weapons and is comparable to Season 1 gladiator weapons and Gorehowl. The next true upgrade to this weapon would be The World Breaker or S2 Gladiator/Tier 3 smithing.

That's almost as funny as the time another hunter told me that you get 1 RAP for every 2 points of strength. I play a hunter, and if I was ever involved in a Doomwalker fight, you couldn't pay me to take this.

79639+4via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

Why would a Hunter even roll for this. 50 Strength? With my hunter, I wouldnt even ROLL for this. And not all hunters have half a brain, mind you. Most of us have the brains to realize we need Agility, not Strength.

Retri paladins can use this also. Nice high and low dmg, nice crit and gem to customize it. With the new SoC this is quite powerful for us palas. Have fun farming this guy and congrats to those that have it

i know i farm his gigantic-a55 2-3 times per week. twice a day on server resets lol. these damn gloves drop EVERY TIME. and no one wants to buy that crap. now if the gun and the axe or even the terrorblade tunic dropped i could make some serious cash. Feral druid/disc priest works every time. dont even come close to dying. 40% dodge. 36k hp. ill be unlucky if i get moar than 5 stacks of armor debuff. enrage is a joke too. even with 9 stacks. he only hits for like 25k lols

Orvisand+7via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

With Wrath Epic gems out, this can easily be overpowered with anything you like to put in. Whether its 60 strength to get 110 total strength from this weapon alone, or 60 extra crit for 90 crit rating, or anything in between to float your boat, if you like spending lots of gold that is.

420507+7via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

I'm already led to believe that this axe is superior to the Axe of Frozen Death simply because it's slower, thus having an increased damage range. Also, on top of the 3 sockets, it has more Strength naturally. So... if you were to insert Epic Wrath gems, this would be a huge jump from the DPS Axe of Frozen Death would grant. Add three +20 Strength gems and that's a huge increase in damage.

aquasword+0via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

so your saying if you dont care about stam or hit and only want an extra 60ish str and less dps over all use this instead of the axe? really doesnt seem worth spending hundreds and hundreds of g on something arguably worse than from a quest you were going to do anyways
