Im curious. The quest here says creatures, I assume the pieces could drop from humanoids right? Also I would be interested to find a good place in Frostfire Ridge or Shadowmoon to AOE farm 90-91s.

Edited next day after farming.... All right, so I farmed in two different places for about 4-5 hrs last night after I looked at what creatures dropped what. In the first 1.5 hrs I got 3 drops (Parts1,3,4) from NE Frostfire ridge, from massive AOE farming of Slagmaw Nibblers. They're found in groups around 5-6 different lava pools in the area. Not to be confused with the larger versions who I don't think drop the parts. Afterwards, I farmed for the last part for another 2 hrs in the same area and didnt find anything. I moved on to Gorgond afterwards for a while after that and still didnt find anything. Maybe its like McDonald's monopoly where the last part is always the hardest to find... or maybe I just got really lucky with the first 3 drops.

After spending endless hours online searching for information on farming [item=118379] parts and finding [i]absolutely nothing[/i] I decided to go and try different farming spots myself. After trying tons of different spots around Frostfire, Gorgrond, and Spires, I finally found the right one that worked for me. It's in Gorgrond, just south-east of Beastwatch at 50,79 at one of the Bonus Objective areas. There are packs of npcs, mainly these level 93 npcs [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=83449]Frenzied Forager[/url] and [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=83450]Frenzied Spitter[/url]. In each pack there are 5-6 npcs, the packs are relatively close together, the npcs only have about 12k health each, and there's approximately 11-12 packs in total spread over the small enclosed area. Their respawn time is extremely quick, and the packs seem to be linked to one another once they die. After killing a certain amount of packs then numerous other packs would all respawn together almost instantly. I don't think I had any time where I wasn't killing them, thus the downtime is very minimal or non-existent. I went in with my Boomkin and just ran around and Starfalled everything. It took like 3 mins to clear all the packs. It'll probably take a little bit longer for other classes that need to target each pack individually. You're killing approximately 60 of them per few minutes. Beware: The corpses do despawn relatively faster than normal npcs, after like 20-30 seconds, so be sure to loot them after each pack or two killed. The good thing I found is that every single of those npcs always drops one [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=108977]Tangled Vines[/url] each, so you have an actual tracker in your bags of how many of them you've killed (providing you actually loot them). I found that I had a part drop every 400-500 or so killed (it averaged at about 1 Cyclical part per 20-30mins). There were times when I got like 3 parts in a period of 5-10mins, and there were times where I had a drought of 1-2 hours between them too; so it's not consistent. Don't be put off if you don't get anything straight away, spend a bit of time there. After about 3-4 hours of farming, killing thousands of them, I ended up with: 4x [item=118342], 3x [item=118341], 1x [item=118340], and 1x [item=118343].

Thank you abhorsen1988 for your tip, I went and killed around 800 untill I got 1 of each 4 pieces.

Thanks for this post. 1 1/2 hours and 823 kills later and I had all four parts and some to spare. ((Don't be put off by the high kill count considering you can pull them just right by groups of 20+ and the respawn is quick.))

Still a great spot as of this post. Got the last 2 parts I needed (Housing and Sequencer) within 10 minutes.

Nearly 1600 Tangled Vines and I got 1 framing, 2 converters and 2 housing. I gave up and just bought the sequencer. Seems like the drop rate has been nerfed a bit.

In fact, they all randomly dropped while I wasn't hunting for them at all, and dropped from every zone BUT Frostfire and Tanaan, for me. I went to Frostfire trying to get part 3 of 4, and after a hour and a half, had no luck. On the pages for the Nibbers, it's mentioned you can click on a Rylack body to spawn the Acidmaw Nibblers, but every time I did that - whether it was an already dead Rylack or one I killed - the Nibblers spawn, you have to kill them pretty quick because they despawn when done "nibbling" on the corpse, and even worse, I couldn't ever loot a single one I killed. And I killed dozens. So, don't waste your time. Back to Abhorsen's post, I just did the bonus objective in Gorgrond, [url=http://www.wowhead.com/quest=34724/bonus-objective-the-forgotten-caves]The Forgotten Caves[/url], and while in there for all of 5 minutes I had 2 of the 4 items drop! I thought they were from [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=76465/pale-flinger]Pale Flingers[/url] and [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=76534/pale-spiderwalker]Pale Spiderwalkers[/url], but I was killing a dozen mobs at a time and then looting so I imagine Abhorsen1998 is right, they're actually dropping from the little spiders inside the cave there. The entrance is at 51.4 77.6, The Forgotten Caves. So that seems like a good bet. And I can confirm that I've gotten them off random mobs just about everywhere, no matter what level - 90 to 100. Although, they didn't start dropping until [b]I was 100[/b], though, so I expect that's intentional. You'll probably find these pieces while out farming other things or just doing quests, and you can auction your extras and hopefully buy the one or two you're missing. Others are probably missing the parts you have extra of and vice versa. Even try trading one of your extra parts to someone who has an extra of what you need. Seems a lot easier than farming 15 parts just to finally have all 4 you need.

Hi, I came here to find some more info on this module since I'm not paying much attention to it because I don't feel the need to have an AH at my Garrison, but some people might. Here is what I can add to the information: I went on to farm some sumptuous furs in south Gorgrond from Tailthrashers. To be honest, I was even surprised when I checked my bags at one point and saw the parts of this in there. As I said, I wasn't particularly looking for them. Anyway, for about 30 mins farming part 3 dropped once and part 4 twice. So I think it's safe to say that this is also a good spot for the parts to drop. As a 100 lvl shaman I one-shot the mobs all around, they respawn really quick (once I do a full round of the grounds, the first mob is already up, no problems). And there are quite a lot of them - in two bigger caves, they gather up to 6-7 of them. Also, a very nice place to farm some Furs :) I didn't know that these are sought after at the AH but now I will post them for the gold income since I don't really need them. In case anyone is still farming these, I just wanted to share that I got lots of parts for this module when farming Arakkoa Outcasts rep in Lost Veil Anzu (amazing spot for rep btw, got 4k in around half an hour). Happy farming! :)

I was coming here in 2025 to add the exact same spot! I just farmed, it took about 30 minutes, and the Framing. Housing, Converter, and Sequencer dropped 1 after the other (with no duplicates) to complete the Cyclical Power Module. It's an excellent spot, as the Ogres and little squid things in groups of 4 spawn faster than you can kill them. Also, low dollar trash called Congealed Telestic Ooze for 1g each, I stacked up 37g on those, along with about 300g for the mobs. You should have the "smuggling run" buff, call that when available, and get the various buffs from the smuggler.

In the lost Veil Anzu, there is a cave if you travel up the river that separates The spires of Arak and Shadowmoon Valley from the south I got three drops at once. Cyclical Power Housing Cyclical Power Framing Cyclical Power Sequencer Of Course I started killing everything over and over looking for that last piece. I'll try to add a picture of the may to mark the entrance.

I can see why. There are a LOT of enemies in there. I managed to get part 1 after just a few minutes of clearing out enemies. I recommend people give it a try if they want to farm parts. EDIT: Just wanted to say I found the same part almost immediately after typing this and then about five minutes later, mostly due to me stopping to fish for a minute, I found the framing as well. This place is perfect! YMMV, of course, but it seems to be a really nice spot.

Was able to get all the Cyclical parts after a few hours of farming. I found that switching farming zones tended to yield a new piece within the first few mobs you killed (possibly a coincidence). I also found that the Cyclical Power Framing was the lowest drop rate out of the four cyclical parts needed. I obtained 5x Cyclical Power Converters, 4x Cyclical Power Housings, and 3x Cyclical Power Sequencer before I was able to obtain one Cyclical Power Framing piece. This was probably just RNG but I figured I would mention. I stuck to farming areas where rep was given as well, listed below: Magnarok, Frostfire Ridge - Found Cyclical Power Housing here The Pit, Gorgrond - Found Cyclical Power Sequencer here Lost Veil Anzu, Spires of Arak - Found both Cyclical Power Converter and Cyclical Power Framing here [u]You can obtain any of these parts at any location[/u] but my findings were more specific for each part and wanted to share to possibly help someone narrow down that last part they may need. BTW, to drop this itens you need a Trade Post 2 best spot to farm the Cyclical Power Module item: Gorgrond 51 79 killing [npc=83449] Start killing, you will get a item in the first 5 minutes. Then, wait 30m, go to alt ou do a dg,,, them back, start killing again. I got all my 4 itens using this method. Dont spend 1 hour killing mobs, i presume tax rate its incrave over time

Killed these for about 10-15 minutes, got myself a cyclical power housing (the last one I needed) and an extra cyclical power sequencer. Super useful farming spot since they come in large numbers and respawn pretty fast.

Spent 2hrs at Socrethar's Rise (in order of drop) got 4x Super Cooling Coolant 1x Super Cooling Regulator and 1X Super Cooling Tubing. Already had the pump and was very pleased to get the last bit (Tubing) I needed within the 2 hrs. At one point after the 4 coolants I was going to give up and sell the Coolants I did not need to get the other two. However pressed on and it paid off. That was the last module I needed after collecting and buying a few parts for the other modules. So now have the completed Ancient Trading Mechanism (Auctioneer) in my Garrison and very handy it is too. The round trip to Stormwind is now not nearly so regular as it used to be. Hearthstone straight to garrison and the Auctioneer is on the doorstep almost. It should be noted that I was only killing the Podling type of mobs and nothing else. Many thanks to the earlier posters to highlight this mob as it very much worked for my visit. Thumbs up.

I was in Lost Veil Anzu farming for Arakkoa rep and got 3 (unique) pieces in about 30 minutes. The respawn rate for enemies there is really fast theres always something to hit so its a good spot to farm
