I can remember when this dagger was such a HUGE deal. My friend got the recipe and was crafting them for 4-500 gold each (which was a ton of money then; this is back when having an epic mount was rare).

Very cool nostalgic item.

Amen, when I had it crafted I put a Lifestealing enchant on it and to this day it's propably one of my single most cherished posessions.. too bad I picked up Gutgore Ripper and Corehound Tooth 2 days later heh.

They fixed that. sorta. but i agree, they have been moving away from extremely hard to craft, amazingly powerful items since vanilla ended, towards not so op items with low drop rates. But i do think vanilla was just really inconvenient with some of the things.
