Ironpatch Blade

Good rogue twink blade. Goes for about 40-50g on Sentinels US. Much more cost efficient than assassin's blade.

i really want to get this sword but everytime i try there gruop killes me. so be careful. you can mainly find them in a group of them. but when you attack one you aggro them all. so be carefull. im a level 24 and i cstill cant do it with out dying.

This blade is very similar to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=935#z0z The only difference being +2 stamina and -4 strengeth. Exactly the same dps and speed. A major difference though, is the price on the auction house. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=935#z0z sells for about 40g+ http://www.wowhead.com/?item=12976#M0z sells for 15g+ Big difference, unless you have thousands of gold to spend. Otherwise, if you just can't stand not having the +4 strength, go ahead and blow all you money then.

Dropped of a random Bear in Hillsbrad foothills and was "bought out now" in AH in about 12hr for 40 gold. Good pull for a world drop.

I sold this on my server for 142g yesterday. Guess they were desperate for a good sword.

Went through SFK 4 times on my main and this dropped three times. Made about 350g selling two of them and kept the other one for my tank alt. I still use it at lvl 25. I get 200+ on revenge crits with it. If you would rather have Butcher's Slicer then you can sell this for 150g+ easy on almost any server.

Has a nice shining effect. Also good for a rogue.

Just got this by killing Wild Buck, and a little later i got the 17 Pound Catfish, lucky? :P

I guess this sword can be considered good for an unloomed 19 twink Fury warrior or a 19 prot warrior/protpaladin, definitely not best in slot though, considering Shadowfang, despite the Agility is the best one-hander for ANY melee class who wishes to twink at 19. I'd consider this sword a GREAT placeholder for Shadowfang, if you cannot afford the heirlooms, and it is definitely worth a nice bit too. Consider selling it anywhere between 200-900G, sometimes, if twinking is active on your server, this can possibly be higher than 1K, if the twink really needs it, but who needs this when they can placehold Shadowfang with a loom, when they can afford a loom? Overall, I have mixed opinions about this, but definitely, sell this, or buy it. You can make quick gold, or get a decent item before Shadowfang.

Since the stats for this item are the same as for [item=20430] and [item=20440], Ironpatch is only good for those who pathologically want to avoid PVP at any cost.

At level 16 you can get [item=1483] which is BiS for a Warrior tank till level 24.

So unless you want it for transmorg, there are better choices.

This dropped off a [url=https://wowhead.com/npc=674]Venture Co. Strip Miner[/url] after 40 kills in N.Stranglethorn. This item can drop off any mob in Stranglethorn or similar level zones at random chance. Your best way to farm blues or this item is to hunt down chests in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor as they give a blue reliably. Also, the final bosses of Molten Core and Blackwing Lair drop 2 blues each time they're up (once a week, resetting on Tuesdays) Good luck!
