Yeah both Cookie's Stirring Rod and the Gravestone Scepter are better, but they're both BoP which doesn't work if you are "twinking a caster" as the original poster said. This is the BoE wand with the highest DPS from lvls 16-21 (until Thunderwood http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13062 at lvl 22).

You can BoP items on a twink caster. Even though this might be a little expensive since its BoE, and people will try and sell it for a lot more than it's worth. Your better off With http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7001 For the +1 spirit, and the amazing dps. Even http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5198 would be good

I grew up with this wand long ago on my priest. This was before wands were auto-shot and you could auto-attack with your dagger and then wand in between. I didn't level as Shadow so wanding/stabbing was a major component of my DPS. Great screenshot by Miyari, btw.

[small][ul][li]Requires Level: 16[/li][li]Level: 21 item[/li][li]Sells for: 14s 23c[/li][li]Buyout price: 2g[/small][/li][/ul]Then why is it in Auction House Buyout price of more then 50, 70, or even 100+ GOLD? [small]Just because it's rare doesn't call for over-pricing... Ugh![/small]

I've never understood this particular complaint. "How dare someone list an item for so much more than it should be listed for!" It's as though you can hear the tendons snapping as their arms are being twisted to buy the item for such an outrageous price... Here's a brainstorm - if you think the item is ridiculously overpriced: don't buy it. If everyone agrees with you, then the greedy noob who had the sheer cheek to overprice an item (isn't that prohibited by the Treaty of Versailles or something?) will be forced, through salty tears, to reduce the price to a level that will

Its because of the look, me thinks. Looks like a plastic toy wand... Put it on a gnome female, give her a pink dress, and perhaps wings if you can find, voila - faerie. I know thats lame - but no one can't do anything about that.

I don't think that's the case any longer. With Cataclysm, many quests changed, were added, and/or were removed. The quest Blackfathom Villainy has become obsolete and therefore, the wand would no longer be available through normal means.

The owner, or former owner, of this wand could possibly be Aurora Skycaller. It may just be a common High Elven name though. Just thought I'd put it out in the air.

I love this cute little wand model for xmog! For other Wands with the same appearance, check here. Specifically: Yellow: [ul] [li][item=13063] (not xmoggable)[/li] [li][item=22254][/li] [li][item=18338][/li] [li][item=4547] (only if you got it before Cata)[/li] [li][item=53238] (Horde-only)[/li] [/ul] Orange: [ul] [li][item=5248] (only if you got it before Cata)[/li] [li][item=58991] (Ally-only)[/li] [li][item=62838] (Horde-only)[/li] [/ul] Purple: [ul] [li][item=12984] (not xmoggable)[/li] [li][item=30523][/li] [li][item=30252][/li] [li][item=6677] (only if you got it before Cata)[/li] [/ul] Green (yes, green): [ul] [li][item=31424][/li] [/ul]

This dropped off an Angry Blight Slime in Hillsbrad Foothills after 2 kills. This item can drop off any mob in this zone or similar level zones at random chance. Your best way to farm blues or this item is to hunt down chests in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor as they give a blue reliably. Also, the final bosses of Molten Core and Blackwing Lair drop 2 blues each time they're up (once a week, resetting on Tuesdays)
