Frenzied Striker

This wep sucks IMHO....

dropped for me from a Gibbering Ghoul or Scourge Warder in Corin'S Crossing. really cant tell what mob of those two it was. got attacked by both and killed them on the spot. oh well...

Is it me or does it seem odd that a polearm would have defensive stats at this level? I could understand them if they were slightly higher and at level 58+ (for DK's to tank with) but at this level it only seems good for solo'ing non-elites - and thats only if no better alternatives are available... which there are. And its quite fast as 2H'ers go, so it's not much use for a 2H dps, apart from that hit rating. Would've preferred some DPS based stats or at least a bit of Stamina, but oh well.

This polearm is just about worthless. First off, the stats are just plain odd for a level 51 weapon and it's not good for PvP nor PvP. Given the fact that you can get an [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19106]Ice Barbed Spear[/url] by winning one Alterac Valley at level 51, which has some worthwhile stats on it, it's hard to figure out who would want this.

I agree; it's made all the stranger by the sheer rarity of its drop, which implies it was meant to be extremely coveted or something. It has a bit of collector's value I suppose, as it's by far one of the hardest items to get in the vanilla content (excluding manpower challenges such as raid boss drops, of course). It has a 0.5% drop rate on a very rare mob with a ~72 hour spawn time. Basically you'll never see it. Whether that's much of a loss is debatable.

Actually, I got one of these from the warpwood elementals in Felwood last night. Perhaps they changed the loot tables for this one?

Hunter weapon.

Well actually, back before The Burning Crusade many items which were not always intended for tanks had mitigation stats for PvP. This could indeed be a hunter weapon for the purposes of Vanilla PvP.

The stats really are just wierd.. a druid tank is the only one who I tought would benefit from th parry.. but then i started thinkin, droods can't parry. Looks somewhat useless.

Death Knight might have some use out of it.

Just found this in a chest in Burning Steeps. Came on here to see buyout, comments, etc. I thought the stats looked funny to me too, trying to figure out who would want it. I guess I'll slap an enchant on it and see if I can make a few gold on it.

Dropped off a Stonelash Flayer in SIlithus after 372 kills. I was killing mobs allover the zone for about three hours so this number might seem low but overall I've killed about 1300 mobs in total. Good luck!
