False, a resto or elemental shaman could use the spirit, but nonetheless, poor itemization as those classes would not benefit much from the agility.

Keep in mind that this was probably around pre-BC, and back then most classes needed Spirit in some form or another. The [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=516]Paladin D2[/url] set has a far amount of it, even though it's now useless to Paladins today. This shield was probably itemized in mind for Paladin tanking or healing or both.

Well back then Blizzard didn't need any sane reason to put Spirit on everything, -everything-. From warrior to rogue gear there was nothing spared by Spirit, nothing.
