Ravager's Shield

Changed in patch 4.0 from: Ravager's Shield 1380 Armor 20 Block +3 Strength +7 Intellect +6 Spirit to Ravager's Shield 1182 Armor +7 Intellect Equip: Improves hit rating by 6. Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 3. Turning it from a strange blend of caster/melee stats into a very nice elemental shaman shield. (Would also work relatively well for resto sham/holy pally as well, but the hit is wasted. There's not much better for healer shields, though, until the 40s.)

I disagree that the hit is wasted for Holy Paladins. Most Holy Paladins will have [url=http://www.wowhead.com/spell=85510]denounce[/url], so tossing in some additional DPS will be optimal in most situations due to the low amount of damage in most low level dungeons. This shield is absolutely perfect for Holydins.

[/quote] No holy pally in their right mind would take that unless they were leveling as holy, which you don't have any reason to do after level 30, when you get dual-spec.

Actually, leveling as holy is perfectly viable. Thanks to Denounce, I can drop enemies in a matter of seconds. Never have to drink, never have to heal.
