Hulking Shield

Just got this, and it seems to be working fine. No shield: "Your block stops 2 damage." 6 Block shield: "Your block stops 8 damage." Hulking Shield: "Your block stops 11 damage." I think you might be confusing Block with Block Rating.

This is the earliest you can get this awesome shield model, but you have to rely on a drop or the AH. Alliance can get this model as a guaranteed quest reward in the form of the Spiritual Barrier. One of the best tanking models in the game, so have fun.

And it makes a comback in Cataclysm too as the Shield of the Four Grey Towers.

7 years ago, I remember always seeing this on AH for cheap. Post Cataclysm though, I'm wondering if this thing even exists anymore.
Been running Blackfathom Deeps on my main for about 30 runs give or take, kinda lost count at this point, but haven't seen this item at all unfortunately. I did see hulking shoulders, and around 6 or 7 hulking boots. Gives some hope, that the hulking set is still availlable. But I wonder if I'm just testing my luck... according to Wowhead data Blackfathom Deeps is your best bet.

It looks really nice! I got this in my paladin :)

While this shield is looks really cool, as of this date, it is currently bugged. It has a block rating of 9, but due to a bug it removes all your block rating.

So, if you want it for the cool looks, go for it. But currently, it's no good as a shield.

Im trying to find a decent place to farm this item for transmog on my warrior, does anyone have any valid suggestions.

Undead Stratholme. It uses the same model, at least back in Vanilla it did.

Dropped for my main today while farming BFD for Axe of the Enforcer. Don't target specific mobs, it's a world drop dude. I'd try BFD though, seen lots of hulking pieces in there. Good luck

Pretty impressive Looking shield for so early into the game. But if your going to start tanking why not do so epicly. This shields look seems to apear every so often between the levels from this one being 21 to these -36-46-53-56 and a Big ol jump to 85, these shields must be more likable then some as even the 85 had 1..

Just dropped for me today in Blackfathom Deeps, so yes it does exist still! I'm currently f2p and can't equip it, however I plan on upgrading and knew how rare it was so I greeded on it and apparently no one else knew what they had stumbled across and I got it instantly after greeding on it! <3 <3 I plan to upgrade to p2p this fall so I'm so stoked that once I hit lvl 21 I'll have a killer shield for transmog! <3

EDIT: If you're hoping this will drop for you, DO NOT GIVE UP! I just had a SECOND Hulking Shield drop for me in Stonealon Mt.! Now that i'm able to level I'm gonna sell it on the AH for cheap, not some insane amount just because it's rare, so keep a look out over the next couple of days!

Please.. ive been trying to farm this shield to transmog for my lvl 24 twink paladin, ive killed each mob that drops it farming like 3 days each mob.. is this still drop available?

Also, does Grimtotem Stomper drops it for Alliance? because in the drop section it doesnt show reaction to A, so im not sure
