Cold Cushion

You are not able to use it inside of a raid instance, which is the one place you'd ever think to really use it.

Another useless toy the devs put 0 thought into

It seems kinda pointless. The description is to soothe a wipe, and yet you cannot use it in instances.

I could be off the mark here.. but my initial thought was that it's a play on words and that it's a replacement for a 'medical pillow'.. >.> *shrug*

I don't think they meant a raid wipe, but they are referencing a rough anal wipe.

[b]Six hour[/b] cooldown? To sit on a [i]cushion[/i]? The logic behind that completely escapes me.

Not when body temperature is taken into account warming the cushion. It has to get cold again, hence the 'cool'down

So. While waiting for the chest to spawn in the Primalist Future, I decided to pull out the cold cushion and park my bony posterior upon it. It was all fine and dandy, until I realized that I was stuck. Never have I ever had to utter these words in guild chat before, "Guys. My a$$ is stuck to this toy and I can't get off" Naturally, the primalist chest spawned while I was stuck in the lotus position. Thankfully I had time to log off/on to participate. (and no, there was nothing I could right click to remove the toy.)

For these kind of toys you will get an "Exit" button on your UI that looks like a red arrow. If it's not visible for you make sure that your "Vehicle Bar" is visible.
