It took my about 10 clears of the cave, and the area outside(I killed outside so they would spawn faster inside)..before I did not get it. So basicly, I came here, reading it wasnt that hard to get, and then after 10 clears I kinda gave up.

It actually does glow in the truest sense, meaning, it may not give off particle effects by default but in the dark the orb does glow. It does not put off ambient light like a lantern or some wands like the opaque, but it does look cool. I submitted a screenshot under 'Stormkrow' I have 6 of these on a non RP server (The forgotten coast) it is probably worth me moving that character over to a place like moonguard......

On of the six trogg weapons dropped off certain Trogg mobs in Dun Morogh. Besides their looks, and perhaps roleplaying reasons, they have no actual use. These six are: - Trogg Dagger (1.0 dps/1.50 speed one hand dagger; drops off level 2 Burly Rockjaw Troggs) - no level requirement. - Trogg Hand Axe (1.5 dps/2.00 speed main hand axe; drops off level 3-4 Rockjaw Raiders) - no level requirement. - Skull Hatchet (3.3 dps/2.00 speed main hand axe; drops off level 8-9 Rockjaw Skullthumpers) - requires level 3. - Rockjaw Blade (3.8 dps/2.10 speed main hand sword; drops off level 9-10 Rockjaw Ambushers) - requires level 4. - Frostbit Staff (5.7 dps/2.70 speed staff; drops off level 9-10 Rockjaw Bonesnappers) - requires level 5. - Trogg Club (4.8 dps/2.00 speed main hand mace; drops off level 11-12 Rockjaw Backbreakers) - requires level 6. For the sake of a complete list, this is where these mobs are located: - Burly Rockjaw Troggs are found in Coldridge Valley (the Dwarf/Gnome starting area), in the fields and ruined camp close to Anvilmar. - Rockjaw Raiders are found throughout Coldridge Pass, the tunnel between the Valley and the rest of Dun Morogh. - Rockjaw Skullthumpers are found in Gol'Bolar Quarry, an overrun mining operation in eastern Dun Morogh. - Rockjaw Ambushers are found in the eastern regions of Dun Morogh, mostly in between Gol'Bolar and Helm's Bed (see below). - Rockjaw Bonesnappers are found in the cave on the east side of Gol'Bolar Quarry. - Rockjaw Backbreakers are found in Gol'Bolar Quarry and around Helm's Bed Lake, where they have struck a deal with the Dark Iron spies there. Both these areas are in the eastern part of Dun Morogh.

This is the Kyle Brovloski staff in 'Make Love Not Warcraft' - essential to making his character mog but unfortunately it's been unavailable since 2010. Occasionally they still show up in the AH for 5-10 million gold but there can't be very many left. Already one of the rarest items in the game. For a low level staff it is nice but the TV version had more of a glow, adding almost any blue enchant duplicates the effect

Drops off of [npc=1117], mostly inside the cave at Gol'bolar Quarry. Total Kills before first drop: 67 My Total Grind Time: ~30 min The majority of the troggs for this staff spawn inside the cave at the Quarry. Drop rate seemed reasonable even if the spawn inside the cave was a 5-7 min respawn time.
